Today I write "Nov. 4, 2008- Election Day" on the board before class starts (because we are 15 hours ahead of you). One student asks, "Ms. Marjorie, who you vote for?" and I tell him "Obama!" And the whole class begins to chant, "O BA MA! O BA MA!"
Eleven year olds in Vietnam love him, too.
Tomorrow after school, a bunch of us will go downtown to an Irish pub to watch the results with Americans from all over Saigon.
That's all I can write, because nothing else is important tonight for me, tomorrow for you, except (see title)!
