Blog Game Thursday: Tarn's Neighborhood Photos

I have this very talented castlemate, Tarn, who took all of these photos last week. Today's "game" - which one do you like the best?

1. Thuy
2. Monkey Boy (T and T's nephew)
3. Candle Neighbor's Son (across the alley)
4. T and T's Mother
5. ?
6. ?
7. ?
A little bit of talent, right?

Rita's Vote:

My vote: A Tie:
#1: Because of color and composition
and
#5: Because of character and composition...those eyes!

It's hard to choose! I like the picture of Thuy with all the color, and then T and T's mom for sure.

#7 because she looks so full of joy.

Thuy gets my vote! That is one amazing photo of her. Nice work Tarn! Your next profession will be the librarian of your gallery of professional photos, I think. They are all beautiful!

Hands down #1 - both the fabric and the humility on her face are eye catching.

I also vote for #1 - Her expression is friendly and inviting but also modest - the complexity draws you in. And the colors add a wonderful backdrop and give a sense of where she is and what she does. It tells a story. Simply beautiful.

I also like Johnny Depp - there is a lot of character there, but the lighting and color is a bit flat. It's make a great album cover.

I would sign up for free checking based on an ad with #6 on it.

The best picture is #1.

#1 for vivid colors against the humble & gentle expression on the face, which shows she faces hardship in life. She can be a tigress at her trade, but she is still a shy woman at heart in her private moment. Now we know your chef looks like.

#5 for intrigue pose.

#3 for message of relax, confident and happy in a difficult living condition.

Unbelievably beautiful pictures... such personality in each shot. Amazing job, Tarn...

My vote, too, would go for Thuy in pic #1... probably because of how much I feel like I know her! It is a beautiful shot.

The essence captured in Thuy's photo made me think Tarn was a little in love with her.

Now that's an artist with a camera.

I LOVE the monkey boy shot and want to make sure you print 2 copies, one for him and one for his family. Such a moment in a child's life.

I like number 7. Is it Tran?
Send Tarn out again, he's got talent.

No, it's not Tran. But I hope he takes her picture. This morning, every face I saw in the market made me wish for Tarn and his camera to capture it.

My favorites: Thuy and #5.

I mean #6 - not #5, although I really do like that one, too. #6 just has such a great face, and I agree with my aunt's title.

I just realized that Candle Neighbor's Son is holding a nearly solved Rubik's cube. So that makes him cool, and makes that the best picture.

#2! A young sweet kid - innocent, open minded and eager to find out what life has to offer! If only more grown ups could be like him!!!
