We’re building a website to highlight some of the most interesting places travelers around the world have discovered. We’ve read hundreds of blogs about Vietnam & Thailand, and we think that yours is awesome! We’d love to highlight excerpts from blogs like yours (assuming it’s OK with you of course) and to discuss other ways of tapping into your expertise if you are interested. I should also mention that puke stories have a similar affect on me as rat stories do for your friend Kathy. I can't get the image of the people hanging out the bus door out of my head. It is haunting me.Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01905943978073850274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28749709.post-28665161715519430662009-01-11T11:53:00.000-08:002009-01-11T11:53:00.000-08:00Isn't it a wonder how u can survive darn near anyt...Isn't it a wonder how u can survive darn near anything when you have to??? The vision of being on a bus with people tossing their cookies to the left and right is quite disturbing. You and K r real women. I am so proud of you both. You really did avoid the curse of FP for years, but you have shown your resiliency-remember your souvenier from Venezuela? You woman'ed up BIG TIME and were in our wedding and a huge help directly after surviving that chapter of your remarkable life book! You continue to prevail and conquer in such a wonderful and marvelous way!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28749709.post-86617012743691081212009-01-09T17:03:00.000-08:002009-01-09T17:03:00.000-08:00Brian, it sounds like you hear about food poisonin...Brian, it sounds like you hear about food poisoning and eggs a lot. Strange.

Karyn, I love it that both I and the cheeseburger are "amazing."

Mungo - so sorry

Tim - yes, keep the egg on the list. It will work it's way back on mine someday. And I usually travel with emergency something. Peanut butter is at the top of the list.

Angie - you had to throw in "homemade" Thai food. Where do you get that? One of your nursing friends? It almost made me want to like it again.Marjiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15092117440311456278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28749709.post-19214201686425696342009-01-09T14:24:00.000-08:002009-01-09T14:24:00.000-08:00Devon says your blog is like a reality TV show. I am so sorry it didn't turn out the way you hoped, but I love that it has renewed your love for Vietman. And that is the most disgusting bathroom arrangement I've ever seen, and I've even been to day three of the Creation Festival at the Gorge...

I do find it humorous that the disgusting bucket under the disgusting water spigot in the disgusting bathroom has big, exciting letters on it that say "USA". Are they mocking us??

I don't see how the eggs made you sick, if they were hard boiled and still in their shells when you got them - kind of a sealed package until you peel the shell off.

When ever I hear about food poisoning and eggs I think of the scene in the movie "Airplane" where they all get food poisoning and the doctor starts pulling egg after egg out of one of the passengers mouths like a magic trick. I bet it wasn't quite that zany while it was happening to you though. But it is fun for us to read about it afterward! Hooray for us!Brian Bowkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05403063305711678063noreply@blogger.com
